The Gospel Coalition is a network of churches and pastors existing to reform ministry practices in light of the gospel. With over fifty council members that include pastors from around the country, The Gospel Coalition fosters conversations, hosts forums, explores pressing ministry issues of our day, and holds a national conference every two years. Their website also features popular evangelical blogs and provides a wealth of online resources.
T4G is convinced that the gospel of Jesus Christ has been misrepresented, misunderstood, and marginalized in many Churches and among those who proclaim the name of Christ. Therefore, the goal of these friendships, conferences, and networks is to reaffirm this central doctrine of the Christian faith and to encourage local Churches to do the same.
9 Marks is a ministry dedicated to equipping church leaders with a biblical vision and practical resources. 9Marks believes the local church is the focal point of God’s plan for displaying his glory to the nations, and that the Bible is sufficient for the life of the church. As an organization, therefore, they are church-focused, scripture-focused, and pastor-focused. They value a multiplicity of voices and styles as well as like-minded partnerships. They hope to continue growing in their own knowledge of God’s Word and its application to the local congregation. And they intend to spread our content through existing venues, platforms, and institutions, not to create new ones.
