Parking Dilemma and Our Hospitality
3This past Sunday as worship started, I watched a couple of people struggling to find a parking spot. I can only imagine how frustrating it must have been to not be able to locate a precious spot.
The historical reality is that the parking lot that came with this building was created to meet the former congregation’s needs. However, the current reality is that as our church family grows and as we have various functions that will attract guests, the parking lot does not accomodate us all! We are going to have consider how we look at hospitality and our parking problem…. ummm… I mean our parking challenge.
As we continue to move forward in mission and as we grow in our understanding that hospitality (read Radical Hospitality) is closely connected to carrying out this mission, we are asking that you consider if you are willing to park at Oster-Oakview, along the street, carpool, or ______ (you fill in the blank).
The parking challenge is as real as our opportunities to serve one another and our guests!
