American Gospel examines the “gospel” proclaimed in the majority of evangelical churches and demonstrates how most professing Christians think Jesus is simply a short-cut to achieving the American dream. This is an important, well-made documentary about what the Gospel is, and what it is not.

Missio Dei Church will be showing this movie after our 9:30 worship service (which ends at 11 AM) on Sunday, February 10. We will be offering a pizza lunch (a free will donation) from 11:30-12:15 for all who want join us. The movie will start at 12:30 in the sanctuary. Childcare is available.
